Hey, you received your order! Awesome! 😍

It is so lovely to have you as a customer. I had so much fun creating your nails! I really hope you enjoy your new press-on nails. If you have any questions that you didn't find here, please contact me on Facebook or Instagram @Onglessky

Press-On Nails Installation:

Always install your press on nails on bare nails. Remove any gel polish, acrylic, gel or resin & powder coating.

Please watch my step-by-step installation video BEFORE installing your press-on nails. All steps must be followed to ensure maximum hold.

Installation with glue:

INSTRUCTIONS for 1 to 15 days wear.

1. Wash your hands with warm soapy water. Dry well.

2. Sort out the nail tips by spreading them out in front of you, taking care to choose the ideal size for each finger.

3. Shorten your natural nails as short as possible. Push your cuticles using the cuticle pusher, file the surface of your nails with the pink mini-block provided with your set.

4. Clean your nails with a bit of 70% alcohol using a paper towel. Let it dry completely.

To make installation easier, start with your dominant hand (if you're right-handed, apply your press-on nails on the right hand first).

Do one finger at a time:

  • Put a drop of glue proportional to the size of your nail (in the middle of your nail) and spread it so that you have it evenly over the entire surface of the nail.
  • Install your nail tips so that they are as close as possible to your cuticles without touching the skin.
  • Press on the nail tips for 5 to 10 seconds and make sure that the glue does not overflow.
  • If there is an overflow, quickly wipe with an alcohol pad.

IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE GLUE DOES NOT TOUCH THE SKIN.

It is suggested not to wash your hands for at least 30 minutes to allow the glue to dry well, thus maximizing the hold of your nails.

Installation with adhesives:

INSTRUCTIONS for 1 to 7 days wear.

With this method, I recommend installing them at night and not getting your hands wet for at least 6 to 8 hours to ensure that the adhesive sets properly. Use nail adhesive for no more than 7 days if you want your nails to stay healthy.

1. Wash your hands with warm soapy water. Dry well.

2. Sort out the nail tips by spreading them out in front of you, taking care to choose the ideal size for each finger.

3. Push your cuticles using the cuticle pusher, file the surface of your nail with the mini pink mini-sanding block provided with your set.

4. Clean your nails with a bit of 70% alcohol using a paper towel. Let it dry completely.

  • Choose the ideal adhesive size (double-sided tape) for each nail.
  • Stick the stickers on your dominant hand first (if you are right-handed, stick your stickers on the right hand first).
  • Install your adhesives on all 10 fingers by sticking the adhesive directly to your natural nail.
  • Remove protective film one finger at a time.
  • Stick your press-on nail closest to the cuticles.
  • Once the nail tips is in place and well positioned, press and hold pressure for approximately 5 seconds.
  • You can now move to the next finger.

Pro Tips!

Want to keep your Press-On Nails glued with adhesives longer?

Install them in the evening before going to bed to avoid any contact with water for a period of at least 6 to 8 hours, this will allow the adhesive to solidify properly during the night.

Your nails will be very solid as soon as you wake up!

Please note that Ongles Sky is not responsible for the misuse you make of your reusable nails. The above recommendations are described in order to avoid any problem that may arise that may cause damage to your natural nails, so it is strongly suggested to follow these recommendations.

quel sont les facteurs qui influencent la tenue de vos faux ongles

Several factors can influence the hold of our nails, here are some of them:

There are 3 important things to verify

1. Are my nail tips the right size?

If your nail tips are too small, they will tend to "bounce back and regain their shape" by taking off from your natural nails. Conversely, if your nails are too large, spacing will be present between your natural nail and the tips causing it to peel off.

Your hair will get caught in this space and will cause your press-on nails to peel off.

2. Did I prepare my natural nail correctly?

I invite you to watch the video above and do not hesitate to "pause" to really take the time needed to do your nail preparation.

3. Was the amount of glue sufficient?

The amount of glue is essential for a good hold, your glue must be spread evenly over the entire surface of your nail and must remain as shiny as if you had applied clear nail polish.

Do a test before applying your Press-On Nails:

Apply the glue on your nail, spread it evenly and wait 3 to 4 seconds.

Did the glue dried partially or completely? Yes? That means there is not enough glue.

The glue is still shiny? Bravo, you are ready to install your Press-On Nails!!
